it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom community consists of 25 enthusiastic Kindergarten children. Our school community is comprised of children from low income, immigrant families, that work hard, and value education. My students aren’t always fortunate enough to have even the most basic supplies. Despite their struggles, they continue coming to school daily excited and ready to learn.
School is their safe place!
My goal is to provide my students with opportunities and materials to explore, see, and learn. Young children are like sponges, soaking up everything that they are taught.
These organizer drawer bins will help me teach my students about the importance of being organized. Since the students sit at large tables, it is difficult for them to keep their notebooks and supplies organized and readily available near their tables. The children will finally have a place to store their workbooks, notebooks, and other supplies in a durable drawer that will prevent them from being destroyed. The students will learn about responsibility, independence and the need to be organized in order to have the best setup for learning. Having a clean, organized classroom environment will not only help the students in school but also teach them good habits of being a lifelong learner. Please help our class start their educational careers on the right foot.
