My Project
I recently moved from one Title I school to another, and I’m so excited to serve a new group of amazing kids! One thing I’ve learned from experience is that an organized, welcoming classroom makes a big difference. When everything has a place, it’s easier to build a structured environment that maximizes learning, supports routines, and helps students stay calm, focused, and confident.
The two rolling storage carts will serve a dual purpose.
First, they’ll hold supplies, centers, and learning materials in a way that’s easy for students to access—so they can move through the classroom with independence and ease. Second, each student will have their own drawer to store meaningful projects and work throughout the year, which they’ll get to take home with pride.
The zipper pouches will be used to organize materials for different center activities. Because I’ll be serving a diverse range of learners—including gifted and multilingual (ML) students—I need to prepare a variety of differentiated materials to meet their unique needs. These pouches will help keep everything organized and ready to go.
These resources will support not just the 24 students I teach this year, but every student I welcome into my classroom in the future. I believe in building routines and systems that help kids thrive—not just academically, but emotionally and socially, too.
