Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our busy and vibrant classroom, every inch of space matters! My students arrive each day full of energy, eager to learn, and ready to dive into hands-on activities. However, with limited storage options, keeping backpacks, jackets, and supplies organized can sometimes be a challenge. A more organized classroom would make a world of difference for them — helping reduce distractions, teaching responsibility, fostering pride in their space, and creating a calmer, more focused environment for learning.
That’s why I’m requesting the Lakeshore Flex-Space Student Storage Backpack Cart and a set of Backpack Cart Storage Bins.
These resources would give every student a designated place to store their backpack and personal belongings — promoting student independence and helping our classroom feel cleaner, safer, and more welcoming.
A safe, organized classroom helps students feel cared for, confident, and ready to learn. By giving each child a dedicated space for their belongings, we’re not just clearing the floor — we’re building independence, responsibility, and pride. This project will create a warm, welcoming environment where every student feels supported and valued.
A simple improvement like this would have a huge impact on our daily classroom life — maximizing learning time, strengthening our classroom community, and empowering young learners to shine.
