This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In the coming school year, my students will be learning from home part of the time if not all of the time. This has been challenging with the smallest learners, but they have shown resilience, perseverance, and determination! I want to prepare them as best I can for a successful educational experience.

My Project

For twenty years in my classroom, we have shared supplies. Obviously, we need to change that this year to keep everyone safe and healthy! We do many projects throughout our day and having the necessary supplies at their fingertips will be essential for student success.

Caring for their classroom tools will build a sense of responsibility in my young students.

I am requesting pencils, crayons, and a pencil box for each student as well as storage carts with drawers that can easily be labeled for quick access. These simple tools will help my "new" classroom run smoothly as we work in a more healthy way.
