This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are excited to come to school and ready to engage their minds. Our classroom is small, but every child is full of potential to reach their goal, hopes, and dreams. Our classroom is in need of a place to store their backpacks neatly. Having an organized classroom is crucial in creating a positive learning space. It makes transitions and moving around the classroom safer. It empowers the students with self regulation and responsibility when there is structure and routine of where to store their backpacks. With their backpacks properly stored away there is less distraction and encourages students to engage more actively within the classroom lessons and activities leading to higher academic success.
