This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are an enthusiastic group of second graders who are eager to learn and grow! Having a carpet will provide a wonderful meeting area for my students where they can improve not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well. Whole group instruction will be enhanced through having a place where students can easily move into groups and partners to share ideas and learn together.
A carpet would provide more opportunities for students to work as a team and become a family.
The proximity that having a carpet would allow, while still providing each child with their own special spot, will enhance students’ learning experiences and help deepen their sense of belonging!
