My Project
Students in AP 2-D Art & Design are required to submit a digital portfolio to College Board at the end of the course . Students will have to exhibit mastery of the Principles of Design, Elements of Art and Composition. Students scoring a 3, 4, 5 on their College Board Portfolio demonstrate proficiency in Big Idea 1: Investigate Materials, Processes, and Ideas, Big Idea 2: Make Art and Design and Big Idea 3: Present Art and Design.
An art gallery is used in the classroom to demonstrate photography technique and various principles.
Students print out their pieces and are required to not only self reflect but to also provide critique to each other.
A wide format inkjet printer would allow them to print professional looking images of various sizes for display in our class gallery.
They will use the gallery for critique and application of skills learned related to design principles, elements of art and composition.
Thereby, increasing their understanding and mastery to produce stunning College Board Portfolios.
The printer will bring their photography pieces to life and be used to display mastery of the design principles, elements of art and composition.
