Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Bring art to a child's life! My students live in a world of poverty - with a stunning view of the city skyline. We need bold markers to depict our neighborhood.
We can't stop winning Art contests!
Our secret to success is hard work, patience and outlining everything in black Sharpie marker so that our art comes through loud and clear. Our budget has been cut over the last few years and we have come to rely on Donors Choose for many things.
My Project
We've run out of glue and our last black Sharpies are about to run dry. Please help us out with a donation of glue by the gallon and a large supply of black markers. As a Kinder through 5th grade Art teacher, I serve 22 classes a week, totaling over 400 students. So you can see that your donation will help many children. With these supplies we expect to keep winning art contests like the Veteran`s Day contest we enter every fall.
Winning contests builds self esteem, makes us excited to come to school and sometimes even earns us money for college!
We thank you in advance for your marvelous generosity. We love our donors.
