This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are in dire need of a new meeting area rug! Our current rug is well-loved with stains. The meeting area rug is a very important place for our students to meet as a whole group, independently read, and meet with their small groups.
A meeting area rug can last for YEARS!
This would be so helpful for our community. Students will be more comfortable meeting on the rug with their peers as well as knowing that they are sitting on a clean surface. We have plenty of space for this rug, all we need to do is roll it out!
