My Students
I have the privilege of working with an amazing group of individuals who are unique thinkers. My students come from a high poverty area. They are diverse in how they learn, the languages they speak, and in the opportunities that are available to them outside of school.
My students are always willing to learn and put their best foot forward each and every day.
These children are fascinated with discovering new things. They are encouraged to try and to learn from mistakes and to redo or prove their own work. If they are given the right learning environment, these students can achieve greatness.
My Project
I want to give my students a fresh start next school year. Our school was hit with a larger earthquake right after the dismissal of school. My students have had a lot of challenges to end this year and I want them to feel safe and welcome coming back in the fall. I will be creating name tags, decor, and positive posters with the card stock to welcome them back to school.
I want to reduce the shared materials when we return to school.
The pencil boxes will give them a place to store their earbuds, mouse, dry eraser, and pencils. Help me give them a safe, welcoming place to learn this fall.
