My students are enthusiastic, motivated, and curious learners. And starting this fall, they'll be getting older! I will not only teach elementary students, I will also teach music at the middle school level. At every age, we will be learning music from around the world in many genres. To give my students the best learning experience, we need to include recorded music in every lesson, to build their aural repertoire.
My students need a high-quality stereo that is also portable, since I will be transporting it myself between two different campuses.
After research and trying some out, I found the speaker with the best sound quality in the most compact size. This will ensure students hear the best quality example of the music we are learning. It will also ensure I can actually carry it from one school to the next!

We will sing along with excellent folk music. We will listen to classical music to learn about great composers. We will enjoy a wide variety of music, including music that students suggest. And since the speaker is a bluetooth device, I can connect it to many different sources: my phone, our classroom iPod, my computer. This bluetooth speaker will really enhance the learning experience of all of my music classes.
