Classroom visitors are the best! Especially when they bring a book.
My students are attention seekers!
They're five year-olds who love classroom visitors and listening to new books read aloud to them. They enjoy making new friends and building relationships with classroom volunteers. My students have a special relationship with a pastor in our neighborhood who reads to them every week.
My Project
Your donation of new books will help foster a love of reading. The new books will be read by a community volunteer who visits our classroom every week. My class is lucky to have such a dedicated volunteer and I want to keep the partnership alive with new books.
The new, award winning books will help keep the love of reading exciting.
There are so many things that a new book can bring to a child and the fact that a community volunteer is willing to read to my students each week is priceless.
