Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have met some of my upcoming students. They are so excited to have me next year, and I am so excited to meet my 2nd group of kids!

The floor cushions will offer my new students something exciting to look forward to in my classroom!

This will help them to be more comfortable during carpet time which I plan to do a lot more of at the start of the year since they are so used to it from last year. It will be a reminder that yes, they are somewhere new, but that doesn’t mean their whole worlds will be turned upside down.

Of course, a new school year means we will need more cleaning supplies to keep health in mind! This would be why there’s an essential need for cleaning wipes and other disinfectants from the start.
