Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach a great group of fourth graders in Los Angeles. I have a class made up of many students learning English as a second language. Our school is making progress is many areas, including adding more computers to our school.
While students have many opportunities to use computers to type up their reports, they have few opportunities to print what they produce. This is unfortunate because students love to see their published work once it has been printed.
We desperately need a laser printer in our classroom that will be up to the challenge of printing for an entire fourth grade class.
You can really help motivate students by allowing them to see their completed work typed up on the computer. This will keep the students wanting to produce more work, because they will rest assured that they will be able to see their finished product. Please help fund our new printer.
