A New Opportunity for Students to Experience Working a Broadcast

My Project

Over the past 6 years, I have been trying to slowly establish a media department in my small district. I have used many resources through fundraisers in the school, but we have not been able to successfully emulate a real broadcasting experience. I am finally reaching out here to anyone who would be able to support our students in getting a media-related experience like never before.

The items that we are looking into getting would be an amazing start to get the students comfortable with streaming, switching cameras, having good microphones, and most importantly, simulating a real experience with media they've never had.

We participate in film competitions, and while we have the ambition and talent across the board, a lack of technology holds us back from anything podcast, live stream, or even local recordings. These products can get us involved in a professional way, even at an entry-level.

This will be our first step into feeling like a much more developed media department than we've ever had. This part of the greater picture can get not only more students interested and involved, but it can also help make a good name for our district as well for the technology department.
