My Students
They are growing and learning in a small, and inviting school community that allows them to develop strong relationships and experience a variety of opportunities. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers, architects, and so much more. They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful career.
My Project
Students need to spend time listening to reading to not only help improve their comprehension but their fluency and expression as well. Have a listening center that works all of the time causes less disruption and allows students to have more opportunities to engage in this vital part of reading.
In my classroom, I value the amount of time students spend reading and listening to quality literature.
A new listening center will help increase the amount of books that are read aloud to them and give them richer experiences in reading.
Donating to this project will not only help the listening center run smoothly, but it will provide kids with just the reading practice they need.
