My Project
The OHS BlazerBots are a very diverse FIRST Robotics Team from suburban Colorado. Our school is minority-majority, and our team is almost always 50% female. Unlike most FRC teams, we have a small budget and only 10-20 students. We could not go to the FRC competition in the spring of 2020 due to Covid, and we could not compete in 2021. Last fall, in 2022, a new group of students decided to return to the team.
Unfortunately, our hardware and laptops were over 6 years old and could no longer work.
We could only afford a refurbished laptop last year, but now we need a more powerful one. Once again, my students proved we are a small but dedicated team, more like a family. Now, we need the laptop to help us be competitive with the rest of the teams.
