A New Environment Needs New Supplies

My Students

My students are an amazing group of kids. They are enthusiastic about school and embrace everything we do in class. They love reading, P.E., math, and science. Our school is a Kindergarten through Eighth grade school located in rural California. It serves 450 students. Our school is surrounded by forests and mountains and has daily visitors such as geese, turkeys, and deer.

Our school has a strong academic and athletic culture.

I want to maintain our strength in these areas by continuing to provide materials to enrich my students' experiences.

My Project

I am requesting cleaning supplies, sponges, buckets, a drying rack and a vacuum to help keep our environment clean.

Our school had a fire in 2016.

My entire classroom was lost. My students and I have been rebuilding our classroom supplies and materials so that when we move into our newly built classroom, it will be ready. Our building is just about finished and we should be moving in next school year.

I am requesting supplies to keep our room environment clean. The vacuum will be used to keep our new carpet free of dirt. The cleaning supplies will be used to keep our tables and counters free of germs. Keeping our room clean will help keep kids healthy throughout the year.

I am also requesting a drying rack which will be use for science and art activities. The buckets will be used for cleaning and for our school garden. We will use them to carry dirt, water and weeds.
