My Project
I am a virtual facilitator here at BA (alternative school). We don't have a big budget here so a lot of things are non-existent. There are no activities for my class, nor are any interactive assignments. My students are in my class for 2 things, they are either in a study hall, or taking my computer elective classes. A lot of the students don't own headphones so the parts of assignments that require listening they aren't able to complete. I just want to create an environment that feels welcoming. I want to get these students interacting with one another, and becoming confident in communicating their feelings, and emotions correctly. Some of them are in my classroom for hours of the day because we don't offer a lot of the subjects that are available at a regular high school. Instead of all the idle time they have I want to find ways to help them grow.
