Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A classroom rug is an important learning space. It is really the center of a classroom for young learners. Most of our learning will take place on the classroom rug. I would like to have a new rug for my students to enjoy while reading or writing.
Rug time supports learners' academic and social-emotional skills.
Carpet time supports early learners' academic and social-emotional skills. Students start and end their day on the classroom rug, and they learn throughout the day. This rug will provide a welcoming environment for current and future students.
