This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am the proud teacher of an eager bunch of prekindergarten students, who are excited to learn each day. Their wonderful experiences in school so far, bring smiles and joy to their faces each morning. Watching them grow and seeing them excited to learn each day, truly makes my job as a teacher worthwhile.
When I think of pre-k, I think of a room filled with bright colors, beautiful posters, and cozy comfortable furniture.
Pre-K is such a memorable year of childhood that is filled with memories that last for a lifetime.
My Project
My prekindergarten students are all very eager to see our classroom look beautiful and cozy. Now during the holidays we have been adding holiday cheer by posting the students' beautiful art projects. However, no matter how much I try to beautify our room we can’t help but notice the mess and clutter of book bags and lunch boxes all over the place. During dismissal we spend a lot of time passing out book bags and trying to find out what belongs to who. If we receive these storage units we will not have to waste educational time trying to figure out which book bag belongs to who. This storage unit will allow me to write the name of each student and know immediately who the items belong to.
All of my students come from low income homes where the parents unfortunately do not have the financial means to help our classroom obtain materials or furniture for our classroom.
My students are energetic little kids who love to learn and are very excited about being in school. However, in our classroom we are in need of a lot of materials and furniture in order to make our classroom more pleasant and inviting for the students. Please help my busy little ants have a neat and organized classroom where they can focus on learning instead of being distracted by the clutter.
I want my students to feel that they are capable of getting anything accomplished in our classroom. This storage unit will give them that independence. Right now all of their belongings are scattered and some can not be reached by my students. I want my students to be able to access everything they need easily and safely. This storage unit will enable my students to access their belongings safely.
