My Project
I would love to provide a variety of hands-on activities to my music classroom. I teach wonderful students from Kindergarten through fifth grade, and each grade would utilize these items through music.
Scarves, ribbons, and a parachute will be used to further connect to music.
The students can understand rhythms as they move the scarves and watch them float for a certain number of beats. Ribbons can be used to explore high and low sounds as well as tempos. Parachutes are a way to have the students connect to music as a group through moving it correctly to the music.
My students love hands-on learning and music. I want to continue to instill their passions into activities with these items.
