My Project

Currently, we have very few books in our music classroom. It has been a goal of mine to grow these few books into a music classroom library so that students can better learn about the vast world of music. From exploring different musical genres and studying renowned composers to delving into the rich history of music and examining its profound impact on society, the possibilities are endless. Whether it's uncovering the rhythms of the civil rights movement or tracing the evolution of jazz, these books will have something for every curious mind.

Having a new music classroom library will help to improve literacy and encourage musical exploration and understanding!

Students will have the chance to deepen their understanding of musicians, composers, instruments, musical genres, songs, stories, music history, and much more! I plan to use these books during class lessons as well as for independent reading during centers and class projects.
