My Students
I have the privilege of working with an amazing group of individuals who are unique thinkers. My students come from a high poverty area. They are diverse in how they learn, the languages they speak, and in the opportunities that are available to them outside of school.
My students are always willing to learn and put their best foot forward each and every day.
These children are fascinated with discovering new things. They are encouraged to try and to learn from mistakes and to redo or prove their own work. If they are given the right learning environment, these students can achieve greatness.
My Project
Students a spending more and more time on computers, Chromebooks, and other devices to learn. This means that the lessons on the computers need to be creative and engage the students in learning.
Students need a wireless mouse to make creating easier during a lesson.
Many of the lessons we are doing ask students to draw their ideas, create a illustrate/diagram, or click and drag to the correct spot. This can be hard to for students to do using the build in mouse on a Chromebook. The wireless mouse will give the students better capabilities to demonstrate their knowledge and to create.
