My Students
I have the privilege of working with an amazing group of individuals that are unique thinkers. They are diverse in how they learn, the languages they speak, and in the opportunities that are available to them outside of school.
My students come from a high poverty area.
These children are fascinated with discovering new things. My students are always willing to learn and put their best foot forward. They are encouraged to try and learn from mistakes. If given the right learning environment, these students can achieve greatness.
My Project
My students need wireless mice to use with our classroom set of Chromebooks. Although I take time to show my students how to use the built in mouse pad and the keyboard shortcuts. Some things are just easier and less time wasted when you can use a mouse. For instance, trying to click and drag is more complicated without a mouse and it usually end up taking two or three tries for my students every time. The use of a mouse elliminates some of that wasted time while students are creating an example of their learning. Having a wireless mouse for each students computer would be an amazing help.
