Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and supplies I am requesting for my students already have a "space". In other words, I know exactly where everything will go for the 2025-2026 school year. We just need your help to get everything to our doorstep! Posters will be placed on the walls for students to reinforce the positive message every day. Cleaning supplies will be used every day at the end of school.

Everyone will help us clean the tables at the end of school.

It is a cooperative effort between them and me. Students will use paper, staplers, markers, and other supplies to create books and, above all, read them. Passes will be used when they need to go to the bathroom or another room. Organizing folders will be placed on the shelves at the back of the classroom and will facilitate the daily Writing Workshop and the completed work pending review.

The stapler will be used so my students can organize their activities by page and avoid losses for the next day. The bulletin board paper will be used to create reference topics related to the study topic and the journey through Latin American countries, reflecting the journeys we take during our learning sessions. Purell towels and sanitizer will be provided to students so they can work where they feel comfortable and clean. A clean and happy space is our priority. And finally, the snacks will be used by those students who made an effort in learning or those who simply need an energy boost.
