My Students
My elementary students are always eager for computer class. Many of them lack computers or an internet connection at home so my class is a real treat of technology. Many enjoy learning how to manipulate web pages, or find fun and interesting ways to customize our daily activities into their own projects.
My Project
Our students have used the same PC desktops in my classroom lab for the last 10 years. These PCs are very slow. It takes upwards of ten minutes for my students to log in and load the content I have made ready for class.
These new Chromebox PCs will help my students by allowing them to log in quickly and get started on their classwork much sooner than before.
Our district uses Gsuite for user accounts so these chrome boxes will integrate easily with our existing infrastructure. I know my students will enjoy using these much newer and faster PCs in my classroom!
