A Mobile Stand to Make Our New Promethean Board Accessible!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our music room is a safe and fun place where my students make music together. They walk into the room, I grab my ukulele, and we sing hello to each other. Despite challenges they might have, I want my students to find comfort in music.
I teach every class in our school from Pre-Kindergarten to 5th grade, nearly a total of 500 students, at a Title I elementary school in Washington Heights in Manhattan, New York City.
Many of my students come from a Hispanic background. For most of them, our music class is the only opportunity for their music lessons. Therefore, I want to make our time together as meaningful as possible.
Our school maintains relatively small class sizes, and that enables teachers to give more tailored instruction, but this is a factor which contributes to a tight budget. In addition, a lot of students come from low-income families. Nevertheless, I am determined to do my best not to let those factors stand in the way of my students getting the resources they deserve. I hope to provide them with the right tools and opportunities through the support here at DonorsChoose.org.
My Project
I have some really exciting news! I will soon be getting a new Promethean board in my music classroom. However, there is a tricky situation; I was told the board has been ordered to be wall-mounted, but my room does not have proper wall space for it. There is one wall that has been damaged due to a leaky roof, and another is on a stage where my students wouldn't be able to freely access the board.
Therefore, after some careful research and planning, I have decided to start my own DonorsChoose project in hopes of receiving a mobile stand for the new Promethean board.
With the stand, I will be able to position and move the board freely. This will be my most ambitious project, and I hope to receive your help. It would be incredibly helpful to have this project fulfilled as soon as possible because workers will soon come to my school to install several new boards. Although that day is not clearly known, I know it can't be too far away.
If this project is fulfilled and I have the stand with the board when the workers come in, I can simply have them set it up on the stand. However, if I do not receive the stand from this project by that time, I won't be able to have the board installed. In that case, I would most likely have to do another DonorsChoose project just for installation, which would cost another $750.
Please help my students gain easy access to the new Promethean board by providing a mobile stand. I truly believe it is crucial for my students to be able to easily come up, touch, and interactive with the board. Thank you for your consideration!
