A Minion Reasons to Love First Grade

My students need to sit in a variety of minion style chairs, couches and tents to promote optimal learning.

My Students

My student deserve the best learning environment I can provide them. They are energetic, curious and compassionate. They work hard and love to move around. They love to feel empowered by making their own learning choices.

My students love Minions and the chance to pick their best learning spot.

They love to move around while working. My students take pride in their work and love to show it off. They work to be their most successful on a daily basis.

My Project

This project will help make my class feel more like "home." Providing flexible seating will help all students learn in their least restrictive environment. The Minion themed chairs, couch, tent and blankets will replace regular seating and provide more of a learning community.

The furniture will provide a homey feeling in a classroom that serves Title 1 students.

Flexible seating is proven to raise test results and improve quality of work. This project will make a difference in their behavior, learning style and attitude. It will provide the opportunity for my students to move around while working on reading, writing and math.
