This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are hard working and caring no matter what seems to come their way. Some students have to come to school with worn out and damaged shoes. Some kids shoes even have wholes on the bottom of the soles.

The donations to this project will help my students come to school without having to worry about holes in the bottom of their shoes, or being made fun of others for the condition of them.

It might seem like a small matter in the eyes of adults, but being rejected by your peers for something you cannot control can be devastating.

Providing these shoes will give my students one less thing to worry about, helping to provide them with a peace of mind when coming to school.
