A Meticulously Safe Classroom Environment With Magnificent Multisensory Learning Engagement!

Help me give my students supplies and tools that will allow me to effectively engage each student individually in a distance learning experience, as well as safety supplies for when we are back in our physical classroom.

My Students

Carpe diem! These are the words that greet my students daily as they enter our classroom. I aim to create an environment filled with creativity, educational challenges, happiness, and self-awareness. Every day, my students rise to the challenge and truly seize the day!

My students attend a Title I public school in New York City where nearly all students come from low-income households.

My students are a diverse group of intellectually gifted fourth graders. Their interests are unique and varied, yet they share the trait of innate inquisitiveness. Our classroom is a place of discovery and inquiry. We strive to tap into our higher-order thinking skills on a daily basis, pushing ourselves to explore and think deeply.

My Project

We find ourselves in stressful times. However, the learning continues! Whether remotely or in the classroom, I am working hard to meet the needs of my students. Whatever the means of instruction, I am so proud of them and they continue to flourish in remarkable ways!

The requested materials will go a long way in ensuring a successful September and beyond.

The webcam, microphone, and headset will allow me to make my live daily lessons on Zoom and Google Classroom more engaging for my students when we are learning remotely. The masks, shields, gloves, and hand sanitizer will help us to remain safe when we are in the physical classroom. Whether used in school or remotely, all of these items will help my students in innumerable ways. They will be used daily and across all content areas.
