This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The start of a new school year brings excitement, fresh goals, and eager young minds ready to grow! In our 2nd-grade classroom, we’re setting the tone for a year of joyful learning and celebration. This project will help provide engaging, high-quality back-to-school resources and special birthday gifts that make every student feel seen and celebrated.

Two Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to purchase enriching back-to-school materials specifically designed to challenge and inspire my advanced learners, keeping them motivated and appropriately stretched from day one.

In addition, I’m asking for birthday surprises—small, thoughtful gifts that bring joy to each student on their special day. These celebrations build community, boost self-esteem, and show every child they are valued.

With your help, we’ll kick off the year with the perfect balance of academic engagement and personal connection.
