This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to work with hands on activities while create drawings infused using block coding. Sphero BOLT can significantly enhance the learning experiences of gifted students by providing them with opportunities to engage in hands-on, creative problem-solving activities that transcend traditional educational boundaries.
The Sphero BOLT allows will allow my students to explore coding and robotics in a playful manner, fostering creativity.
Gifted students often thrive when given the freedom to innovate and experiment. With Sphero, they can design their own challenges, create unique programs, and even integrate art into their coding projects.
Sphero robots promote project-based learning (PBL), which is particularly beneficial for gifted learners who may require more challenging material than standard curricula provide. Through PBL, students can work on real-world problems by programming their Sphero robots to navigate mazes or complete tasks that require critical thinking and collaboration. This method not only deepens their understanding of STEM concepts but also enhances their ability to work as part of a team.
