it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A few months ago, I was going through all of my old childhood books. I decided to bring these special books into my classroom to show my students. I introduced the Magic Tree House book series to my class. I only had three different books and almost instantly, all of my student's hands went up to request to read one of these three books.
Through the funding of this project, students will have the opportunity to go on new reading adventures and become excited about reading books.
In the more recent days, students have been asking me if I have any more books from this series. I managed to get my hands on more copy via donation, however, the students are still eager to get their hands on the rest of the books in the series. I am excited to see them motivated to read and would love my students to have the opportunity to read books they love and are interested in.
The Magic Tree House books are not only a great, fun, read, but students also get a chance to learn about different historical periods in time! I am looking forward to reading and learning with my curious students!
