Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a Pre-K teacher and we spend about 80% of our time on the carpet learning and playing. Many of my students are in Special Education with a wide range of disabilities (mild, moderate, severe). My students all love to dance and read on the carpet.
My project will help my students have a new clean rug to learn, dance, read, and share.
Unfortunately, our classroom rug has gone through many events over the past 3 years. We have used it for nap time spots, students have dropped liquids on it, and food and playdough have also magically made their way to the rug. There are some stains that we have just not been able to remove.
