My students are blended learners who come to school part of the week and also learn from home. They are in third grade. Many of my students come from low-income families. Several are English language learners. There are a few that come from single-parent (or single-grandparent) households.
All of my students are unique individuals who are always eager to learn and be engaged in exciting activities.
My diverse third graders come from a variety of backgrounds and have different needs and wants. All of my students are eager to learn, with open minds, ready to be filled with knowledge.
Our virtual class has become their second family. They are very energetic and enjoy working with each other, love projects and strive to do their best. All in all, they are a group of awesome kids!
My Project
The MacBook Air will be helpful during remote learning. It’s extremely challenging teaching during remote learning with an outdated laptop that I constantly fear will die on me. This MacBook Air will be extremely helpful to provide quality instruction to all students. I am required to provide constant synchronous instruction to all students during remote learning.
It’s crucial to model and demonstrate activities to students throughout all lessons.
Students will benefit from being able to see lessons modeled and reinforced. Having this laptop will be helpful in all instruction for all my students!
More than a third of students from low‑income households
