This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A huge goal this year is to build a quality in-class library for my students. I firmly believe that a love of literature is fostered through the availability of really good reads. I don't want a lack of access to derail a blossoming love of reading.

Immediately, these books will infuse energy and excitement into our independent reading.

I selected books that I know from experience that 4th graders love. I intentionally targeted the series with the idea of the books being passed around and discussed. I believe in the power of stories to unite people! Help unite my classroom through some really good books!

We have incredibly high-level goals this year! Help us achieve our maximum potential through independent reading!
