My Students

I teach some of the brightest up and coming 11 and 12 year old students around. My students thrive with the love and support of their teachers and community. The students that I teach are constantly seeking new knowledge and new ways of learning with innovative and cutting edge technology.

I teach ELA/writing and with the support that we need, my students could embark on a magnificent journey of learning.

My students are always vigorously writing narratives, opinionated essays, and informative essays. They have grown so much just this year, and could do so much more given the opportunity.

My Project

This book A Long Walk to Water: Based on a True Story, will help me teach my students many things, such as: gratefulness, hope, perseverance, and humbleness. I am absolutely in love with the morals this book teaches and I know my students would be, too. Along with the reading and learning the important themes of this book, it will also help their writing skills. My students will write about the importance of water and how to be grateful for the things that they have today. I believe this book will help open up their eyes to a world that they do not realize is out there. It will make them more appreciative of the education they have now and the things that they take for granted.
