This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a wonderful and eager group of students. I try every day to make learning fun and exciting for all of my students. My students are from low income homes and are English Language Learners. Our school is a Title I school and all of our students qualify for the Free Lunch Program.
I have an amazing group of second graders who come to school every day with the desire to learn!
They love to learn and constantly yearn for new experiences in which they may apply their new knowledge and skills. Our classroom is a safe and caring place where we gather as a community to learn to be respectful and responsible.
My Project
Everyday our students use crayons but we also find them broken and under the table by the end of the day. The Twistable Crayons are more durable and reliable. They will use them during all subject areas. They will especially use during Independent Work Time or on their Class Projects. My students do not have to waste time looking for a specific color that has been lost. They will use the Twistable Crayons to enhance their drawings in their writing assignments and math problems. My students love doing art projects and the Twistable Crayons would be perfect for them to use.
