My Project

I am looking to add to my teaching toolbox by adding the "Little Spot of" curriculum to my Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). My students need these tools to help them better understand themselves and then be able to build healthier connections with those around them.

These books and learning tools have been used in other classrooms to help students learn emotional regulation and effective ways to manage and respond to emotional experiences.

I have used manipulatives to help my non-verbal students be able to express their emotions. I would like to update my classroom with the ones found with the "Little Spot of" curriculum, as it is a familiar icon to my students, so they will more readily connect to understanding the concepts of emotional regulation.
