A Little Spot of Social-Emotional Learning

Help me give my students access to "Little Spot" materials that allow them to develop the "soft skills" that have always been important to learners, but that has become even more critically needed in the last two years!

My Students

In my placement as a Special Education teacher, I have the opportunity to support a group of students who are diverse learners with diverse needs. The materials that I am requesting will provide them all with the skills that they need in order to be academically, socially, and emotionally successful!

All of the student to whom I provide services receive Special Education.

While some have goals for Social-Emotional learning, they all benefit from direct support in this area. This group of students is eager to learn, and they all have worked so hard to meet the challenges that all students are facing. I would love to be able to provide them with more instruction that will give them additional tools to be successful!

My Project

Social-Emotional Learning has always been an important factor in student learning. Since the start of COVID-19, students have had significantly more stressors, and have, unfortunately, not been able to access many of the supports on which they had come to rely.

The "Little Spot" series will help students with many skills that they need to be able to be happy and comfortable at school.

When students are able to interact with adults and peers successfully, they are able to better focus on their academic learning. By using these resources, I will be better able to help students in this area.
