My Project
Every month I go into all of the classrooms in our school to teach them about the importance of developing good character and challenging them to set goals to do better. I would like to mix this up a little bit by sharing with them information about their emotions and how to manage and use them properly. I've heard these books are great in helping students gain more social and emotional awareness (even older kids!). The students look forward to my classroom visits, and it would be great to have something new to catch their attention. I hope that they will gain greater insight into their feelings and talents that will encourage them to set goals and express their needs. I will also use them in my one-on-one counseling as needed.
