I have accepted a new position in my school building for next year that will be very rewarding to myself and much needed for all students. I will be a SEAD Coach for the entire building. This stand for Social Emotional and Academic Development.
Classroom Management is so important in schools right now.
Students are facing many challenges at home and at school. They struggle to communicate how they are feeling and what they need to face their challenges. I will be setting up a space that students will find safe and comfortable in.
I want to add to this space all of A Little Spot books. These books are so beneficial to students because they explain in kid friendly language how they can be feeling. One set of books includes plushies for the students to help identify their feelings as well.
