This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Being a teacher we always need more supplies or items to add to the classroom to help our students succeed. We often don't get everything we need for the students and most of the time we have to pay out-of-pocket expenses. This project will allow me to provide my students with a comfy space to learn and other supplies they need to replace things that have broken or need to be replenished at the beginning of the school year. I am fortunate enough to have family and friends who helped me provide flexible seating for my class but unfortunately not enough for all those who would benefit.
