This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will be teaching a new kindergarten class this year. I would like to create an appealing Book Nook where students can feel comfortable and motivated to read books. I currently have a rug and books that are in baskets. As I begin a new school year with my kindergarten students, I would like them to have a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a fun book.
I am requesting a two-seater sofa that will help to promote reading comprehension, independent reading, and build strong literacy skills.
