This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are an amazing group of fifth graders. They come to school every day full of life and ready to learn. This is a big year for them as they will be graduating and leaving their elementary school to move on up to middle school. They are so excited to begin this next chapter in their lives and it is my job to provide them with as many tools as I can to prepare them for this transition. Part of that is to make sure my students learn how to stay focused on their own work.
Privacy Boards will create a distraction free space ensuring improved focus on assessments and assignments.
These partitions will provide extra security for students who worry about others looking at their work, will ensure that everyone is keeping their eyes on their own paper during testing, and are advantageous for kids who are easily distracted. Normally we sit in groups and work together throughout the day, but sometimes kids need a little privacy too, making these board a perfect addition to our classroom.
