My students need privacy folders to help them stay focused during tests and other independent activities.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Colleen's classroom raised $179

My Students
My students come from a high poverty area. They face many challenges at home and in school. Many of them are lacking in basic school supplies. Most are low academically, but they come to school every day ready and eager to learn.
I want my students to have the best third grade experience possible.
Our school budget is very small and I buy a lot of materials myself. As a first year teacher, I need some help to give my students what they need. I cannot control what my students experience outside of school, but while they are in my classroom, I strive to provide them with everything I can to make them feel cared for and successful.
My Project
These privacy folders, with storage rack, will be used by my students at various times throughout the week to help them stay focused during tests or other activities where they need to work independently. My students will also be able to use these folders during independent reading time so they can stay focused in on their book and not what's going on around them.
These folders will help block out distractions around my students and allow them to remain focused on the task at hand.
With these folders, they won't be able to see other students working or have to worry about someone else copying their work. They will be able to stay in their own zone without the pressure of worrying about what everyone else is doing.
