Help me give my students Lego projects! Legos are an analogy for students struggling with emotional regulation. Starting as a large number of pieces that are disconnected. With time and focus they can build themselves into something amazing!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By monitoring self-regulation during instructional time, students will earn minutes to challenge their thinking by completing a complex project requiring stamina and focus.
Working in small teams, the Lego Projects will also be an analogy for students to understand when they are all over the place they are like the pieces to the project- scattered.
The projects selected are complex and multi-step. Reading the instruction manual, visually planning, and working together, students will begin to see how these skills are needed when working to build something beautiful, just like them!
