This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students holiday gifts and a book that they can enjoy over Winter Break. Many of my students come from low-income households and their families are not always able to provide a lot for Christmas.

I would love to send my students off to break with a little Holiday joy.

I am asking for some Christmas themed cups that I will fill with candy and some fun glasses. I also asked for vinyl as I will be adding students names to these cups which will help them feel a sense of belonging and ownership over something that is just for them! In addition students will also receive a Holiday themed book to help them stay on track with reading over the break as many of my students do not have books at home. Students often lose reading progress over long breaks. These books will help them keep practicing at home so they can come back in January ready to keep learning and meet their reading goals. We are also asking for candy and slime to help replenish our class store. Thank you for considering our project!!
