This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, we believe in creating an environment where students feel supported, energized, and motivated to succeed—every single day. That means more than just lessons and lectures; it means meeting their basic needs, celebrating their progress, and equipping them with tools that help them thrive.

Every item on our wishlist helps students feel seen, supported, and successful.

From snacks that give them a boost of energy, to reward candies that keep motivation high, we’ve built a space where students know their effort matters. Our mobile whiteboard encourages group collaboration and makes learning visible. Extension cords keep devices charged and learning uninterrupted. Tennis balls quiet our classroom stools, reducing distraction and stress. Each piece—big or small—serves a purpose in helping our students learn with confidence.

We’re especially excited about tools like our “Level-Up” button machine, which rewards students who are making strides toward their math goals. It’s not just a button—it’s a celebration. Add in composition notebooks for notetaking and tutoring, and you have the foundation of a space that values growth and effort. With your support, we can keep building a classroom that meets our students’ needs in every way.
